The HIPPO English competition is organized by GLOBAL HIPPO ASSOCIATION, which aims to promote English language and collaboration between children from different countries of the world.<\/p>\n
The competition promotes the development of a common sense of identity and acts as a model for young people. The main goal is to create relationships, intercultural and international understanding, and to enhance the noble rivalry among English-speaking young people around the world.<\/p>\n
The competition complies with the requirements of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages \u200b\u200b(CEFR). Participants compete in five categories:<\/p>\n
HIPPO 1 – Below Scale<\/p>\n
HIPPO 2 – CEFR A1<\/p>\n
HIPPO 3 – CEFR A2<\/p>\n
HIPPO 4 – CEFR B1<\/p>\n
HIPPO 5 – CEFR B2<\/p>\n
In Greece, the competition is co-organized by the ATHINA Educational Network and Thales Foundation Cyprus.<\/p>\n
